STRIKE Controls:
- Turn the rotary knob to scroll the arrow across the screen.
- To make a selection, press the rotary knob toward the control box.
Perform a STRIKE Impact Test:
- Power ON the device.
- The power button is located at the bottom of the control box.
- Navigate to the Test menu.
- Select the User and Field.
- Select the starting Location.
- Refer to the diagram on the front of the Control Box for testing locations.
- We recommend starting at Location 1 and incrementing by one each test.
- The location indicates what part of the field to test (ie. main field, painted area, inlay).
- When the control panel reads Arm Handle, remove the locking pin from the drop cap. Raise the T-handle to the top of the tube and twist clockwise to secure in the drop track.
- Once the T-handle is secured in its raised position, select Start.
- The system will arm itself and count down from three before dropping the mass onto the testing location.
- After dropping, a results page will appear with the following metrics:
- Peak g
- Delta v
- Delta z
- Press the knob to select Continue.

QC Check Success:
- Input the infill depth/moisture content and select Confirm to proceed. The data will automatically save to the device.
- A check mark will appear next to the Location ID. Insert the locking pin in the drop cap and move to the next testing location.

QC Check Error
- An exclamation mark will appear next to the Location ID. To re-test the location, move the device to a different part of field within the location, select Confirm, and repeat steps 5-8.

QC Check Success:
- On the Set Location screen, select Change and set the appropriate location ID.
- Scroll to check which locations have been tested.
- A check mark appears next to successful tests.
- An exclamation mark indicates the test needs to be repeated at that location. When re-testing, ensure to move the device a few feet away from the previous drop.
- Scroll to check which locations have been tested.
- Repeat steps 5-9.
- Repeat until a successful drop has been performed at all testing locations.
- After testing, press back until you have returned to the main menu. Now it is time to upload the test results. Read about uploading here.
